Placing an Order from within the United States

To place an order correctly, perform the following steps : 

  • At the top of our homepage, you will see the pictures of a laptop / notebook, desktop, printer, etc. Click on the picture of the device that you are trying to upgrade, i.e., if you are looking for an ac adapter for your notebook computer, then click on the picture of the laptop or notebook, but if your are looking for an ac adapter or a battery for your digital camera, then click on the photo of the digital camera, etc. etc..  The next page you see will show a list of brands and/or manufacturers (also referred to as OEMs).
  • Click on the OEM/brand/manufacturer of your computing device.  The next page you see will show a list of all the models released by that specific manufacturer.
  • Click on the EXACT model of your computing device.  Please be very careful in your selection, since so many models sound and look very similar but actually use different upgrades.  The next page you see will show a list of all the upgrades and peripherals we offer for that exact model.
  • Click on the "Add To Cart" button next to whatever you wish to purchase.  The quantities of each item are automatically set to "1".  If you wish to purchase more than quantity 1 of any item, change the quantity field respectively.  Note that when you click on the "Add To Cart" button, only that item is added to your shopping cart.  The rest of the items, even if they show quantity 1, will NOT be added to your shopping cart unless you click on the "Add To Cart" button next to a specific item number. What you will see next is the list of the items that have been added to your shopping cart, along with a list of suggested items that you might be interested in.  
  • If you wish to add more products from the original list of upgrades and peripherals, simply click on the "Continue Shopping" button at the bottom of the page and continue from there. If you wish to add any of the "suggested" items, simply click on the "Add To Cart" button next to whatever you wish to add to your shopping cart.  Either way, you will see an updated page showing the list of the items in your shopping cart.
  • When you are done shopping, click on the "Submit Order" button at the bottom of that page.  What you will see next is our order form, where you fill in all your Billing and Shipping Information, email address, etc.
  • When you are done entering all your information, click on the Next button to view all the different shipping options available to you and choose the shipping method you wish to for us to use.
  • Review the final confirmation page in detail. This is your last chance to go back and modify your order.  If you are satisfied with all your order details, go down the page to click on the YES button next to the question "Do You Agree to our Terms and Conditions" for the order process to proceed.
  • Click on the "Submit Order" button at the bottom of the page to finalize and complete your order.  The next page you see will be the "Thank You" confirmation page along providing you with a 9-digit Order Confirmation number that should start with the number "3K".  
  • To start the order process, click on HOME at the top of this page.

Some Questions and Answers :

I would like to place an online order, but I don't have a credit card.  What should I do?  You should ask a friend to place the order for you, and then you can pay your friend.

Can I place an order and have you ship it to another address, like my work address? Yes.  Simply enter a different Shipping Address in the form provided.  PLEASE NOTE, however, that shipments to different addresses take longer to process due to our verification process to avoid credit card fraud.

After I place an order, how long will it take before I receive it? If there are no problems with your method of payment (such as credit card information, etc.) then it depends on what you order and where you are located. If you are in Canada or the United States, you will receive your order anywhere from between 2 business days to 10 business days. If you are outside Canada and the United States, you will receive your order anywhere from between 4 business days to 10 business days. One very important thing to remember is this: All shipping methods, such as 2nd Day Air, etc., are counted from the day we ship, and NOT from the day you place the order. In other words, let's say you place the order on a Monday, and you choose 2nd Day Air as the method of shipment. It does not necessary follow that you will receive your order the following Wednesday, since we may ship your order to you on Tuesday, or sometimes even later, depending on what you are ordering and which of our distribution points have the product in stock.

But if you claim that all listed products are in stock, then why can't you ship my order on the same day I place it? We cannot ship any order paid with a credit card without the prior approval of our merchant credit card processor, which has to conduct their fraud diligence, and sometimes they take two days to approve your order. There also could be several reasons why we cannot ship your order on the same day. The most common one is that if you are ordering two or more items, like a battery and a memory module, the chances are that one item will have to come from one of our distribution points, and the other item will come from another distribution point. If we ship both items to you directly from both of our distribution points, then you will incur two shipping charges, instead of just one. So to save on shipping charges, we have to wait for both items to be shipped to one central location from which your entire order will be shipped to you. If you don't mind paying for shipping charges for each individual item separately, then you can always include a comment with your order.

To ensure that you are ordering the right product, we ask that you PLEASE scroll up and down the entire page before choosing the item you wish to order. There are many computers whose models or model numbers sound and seem almost identical, but may use different upgrades. An example would be a Compaq Deskpro 450, very distinct from the Deskpro 4/50. These two machines are not identical. One can use a 16MB module but the other cannot. And then there are the AcerNote 350, and the AcerNote 350 Model 356, which use different upgrades altogether. Even worse, for example, there is an IBM PS/Valuepoint 6384-M50 which uses a completely different upgrade than that used in a PS/Valuepoint 6384-M52. Then there is the Green753 and the Green753+, which again use completely different upgrades.  And the list goes on and on. So PLEASE scroll up and down the entire page until you are sure that you have chosen the right product, and have written down the CORRECT part number. If you have looked at the entire page and are still not sure, please send us an email inquiry BEFORE you place your order, and we will do our best to respond immediately.
